The Perfect Fit
Here are a few tried-and-true tips to help you to find the perfect ring size fit:
Opt for a snug fit.
When placing a ring on a ring finger, there should be a slight degree of resistance. It shouldn't slide on too easily. Once in place, shake your hand (over a carpeted floor). The ring shouldn't pass your knuckle.
Be mindful of seasonal weather changes.
Depending on the summer or winter seasons, most people experience a change in finger size. In summer, fingers tend to swell with the heat and in winter, they shrink. We recommend that you measure your ring size during average weather conditions.
Consider the width of the band.
An often overlooked factor that can influence ring size if the width of the ring or wedding band. Rings that have a wider band, will fit tighter on your ring finger.
If you are unsure about your ring measurement or whether the ring you are buying is considered a wide band, please feel free to contact us. We'd be delighted to assist you.
